Adam came 11th overall at this competitive and talented event, which is a remarkable performance - Well done!
There were 10 worlds teams competing at this regatta NED, GER, POL, BEL, POR, DEN, FIN, FRA, NOR, SWE and World team members from JPN, SWI etc. These teams are the best Oppie sailors in Europe and their selection for the Worlds team exclude them from the Europeans. Hence, the quality of the fleet is much higher than the recent Europeans where only the second team compete.
The next best was Sophie Brown, winner of the Irish Trials and Ireland’s sole Worlds team member who was sailing with the Danish team, who came 56th.
