Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships

Good luck to all Irish competitors, especially to our own RSGYC Sailors Ger Owens & Scott Flanigan in the 470 Class.
The first Olympic qualifier has begun in Perth at the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships where nine of our Irish sailors will begin competing for their chance to represent Ireland at next year’s Games.
The first of our teams to begin racing on Monday the 5th in Fremantle will be the NYC's Annalise Murphy (Laser Radial) who is on the ISA Olympic Squad and is internationally carded as well as the RSGYC's own Ger Owens & Scott Flanigan (470) and Ross Hamilton (Finn) who are independent non-carded sailors.
