Tenerife Sailing Exchange

Attention Junior Optimist Sailors - would you like to take part in a Sailing Exchange to Tenerife this July?
Dear Parents,
CLUB DE MAR RADAZUL is the a yacht club in Tenerife. They have contacted the RSGYC / NYC to participate in a exchange programme.
We feel that this is a exciting opportunity for our sailors to travel to a new country and sail.
We have decided that it would good give this exchange programme a try and see how it fits in with our sailors and our sailing programme.
The 6 spanish sailors with their coach and team mum are looking to travel over around April 1 to April 7th and we are proposing to set up a coaching programme between the RSGYC and NYC. The Brassed Off Cup is a yearly event held just before Easter each year and we are proposing to bring the sailors to this event.
To kick start this off we have decided to keep the numbers low and choose 3 Optimist sailors from the RSGYC and 3 from NYC.
The return trip for the Irish sailors to go over to Tenerife would be in July.
Accommodation would be with hosting families and they will provide the optimist so we are trying to keep all the hassle out of the equation.
