Alan McGettigan will share his memorable moments and top tips from his six year circumnavigation around Europe in his Ron Holland designed Swan 43, 'Wolfhound'.
Alan McGettigan, who is a Member of the RIYC, has over 30 years of cruising experience. For the last six years he has been on an odyssey to circumnavigate Europe with his yacht 'Wolfhound' , a Ron Holland designed Swan 43. The section of the cruise Alan will talk to us about is the western coast of Turkey and northwards to Troy, Gallipoli and the Black Sea. Alan plans to return by navigating upstream on the Danube and on to the Rhine via the Donau Canal.
