Lift-In 2012

Monaco Optimist Team Racing

By all accounts this was yet again a fantastic event to attend. Great racing and even a chance to meet one of Monaco's Princesses! Unfortunately, however, no one from the 'George' was able to attend this year. Junior Dinner & Prize Giving 2011

The highlight of the Junior Calendar! This event, the official culmination of the Junior Summer Season, was, as always, a tremendous success with well over 100 Juniors in attendance and some very brave instructors and members of staff. Indeed, the parents retreated to the silence of the Boathouse Bistro! Thanks to the Junior Organiser, Adrian Eggers for presenting the prizes. VIEW PHOTOS

Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta 2011

Wow! What a wonderful four days! From the Mick Walsh Band to the Fire Eaters, the Royal St. George Yacht Club was in full on party mode from early morning to, well, early morning throughout the Regatta! We hope you've all recovered and look forward to seeing you all here again in 2013! VIEW PHOTOS
RSGYC J80 Family Regatta

20 June

The first-ever RSGYC J80 Family Regatta took place on Sunday June 19. It was super to see such a great turnout (17 families) and an extraordinary span of ages from about one year up to the elderberry Kirwan, Captain Paddy. VIEW PHOTOS

Five national titles were decided over the May Bank Holiday weekend with the top ranking awards going to a range of clubs all around the country. George’s Day Dinner 2011

16 April

Due to Easter, the George's Day Dinner was held the week before St. George's Day on the 16th April but it was still a wonderful evening and greatly enjoyed by all in attendance. The George's Day Dinner is also the annual occasion when all the Club Trophies are presented to Members who have excelled both on and off the water. VIEW PHOTOS
Spinnaker Ball 2010

09 October

On the 9th October 2010, the inaugural Spinnaker Ball took place in the Club and was a roaring success. Attended by 125 Members, friends and fellow Dublin Bay sailors, there wasn't a sole that didn't, at some stage, grace the dance floor and the party lasted long into the early hours. VIEW PHOTOS

Liebherr Cruiser Nationals 2010

This was the high profile event for the Club in 2010; and the Liebherr Cruiser Nationals hit all the right spots.
