Dining Room
This large and gracious room with its concave ceiling and curved bay window is a focus for formal and informal dining with a la carte or fixed menu lunch and dinner on Friday, Sunday Family lunch and Saturday dinner. Sailing suppers are served during the sailing season on Tuesdays and Thursdays in a more informal atmosphere.
Formal Bar
This spacious and elegant large room, which opens onto the balcony, provides comfortable bar seating during the day, and in the evening provides an anteroom where dining members can enjoy an aperitif or after dinner coffee.
Informal Bar
The Informal Bar opens onto the balcony with magnificent views of Dun Laoghaire harbour. This is the hub of Club life with lunchtime carvery options and bar service availble from Monday to Saturday, Meet and greet sailors and non-sailors alike in comfotable and elegant surroundings, it's also the ideal place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink.
Club Room
The Club Room, an intriguing conversion of the old vaulted boathouse, is used for a huge range of activities including junior discos, keep-fit, bridge, quiz nights, private parties and sailing suppers every Thursday during the sailing season. The Club Room is also the venue for the very popular Steakhouse Restaurant, Featuring Certified Irish Angus Beef along with with a choice of seafood, accompanied by French fries, crispy salads, teas and coffees. Relax in this informal and intimate shoreline setting. The perfect place to wind down the week!
Billiard Room
Just as likely to be referred to as the Snooker Room - the preferred game these days - this fine room with its high vaulted timber ceiling has preserved its historic appearance, and is the scene of many internal and inter-club competitions, as well as many a casual game.
Reading Room
The Reading Room is reserved for members only and houses a fine nautical library. Some members think that this is the finest room in the club. An oasis of peace where members can sink into large armchairs and read the newspapers and periodicals, or view the goings-on in the harbour and across the bay through the tripod binoculars.
