Getting to Dun Laoghaire
Dun Laoghaire is located on the outskirts of Dublin City and is only a short distance from the capital. Low cost airlines all fly directly into Dublin airport from the UK. Flight time approx 60 mins. Transport from the Airport by shuttle bus takes approx 40 mins. The shuttle bus, the ‘Patton Flyer’ goes directly from the Airport to the Royal Marine Hotel which is situated approx 3 mins walk from the Royal St George.
There is some uncertaintity about the status of the Stenaline ferry service into Dun Laoghaire from Holyhead with the possibility of a smaller ferry being used. All developments on this service will be posted to the website as we hear news. Special Event Rates and timetables may not be fixed until Jan 2010.
