Membership for Guests & Non-RSGYC Club members
Children of non-members are encouraged to partake in a single Junior Sailing Course and / or a Squirts season through sponsorship by a member such as parent or grandparent. This provides an opportunity for a child of non-members to try out sailing or to sail with a friend (whose parents are full members) and to see whether they like the sport, enjoy the club and its facilities and wish to consider membership. (Please note that due to COVID restrictions we are unable to accommodate non-members on our Junior courses this year.)
If a child has already taken part in such a course through sponsorship by a full member please be advised that for the child to be eligible to take part in further courses in the club, you as a parent will need to become a member.
We have introduced special introductory membership packages for both Family and Individual membership categories, both of which enable the child or children of the member to enrol in the Junior Sailing Programme and to access the Sea Squirts & Tigers Programme. Children of members also benefit from significantly reduced Junior Course fees, typically a reduction of 20%.
The good news is that both introductory membership options represent excellent value and the membership process is itself is also straightforward.
Introductory Individual Membership costs €775 per annum, or less than €65 per month
Introductory Family Membership costs €995 per annum, or less than €83 per month
Both introductory membership categories represent a 50% reduction from regular membership rates and are valid for a two year period, calculated on a pro-rata basis from date of joining.
The Royal St. George Yacht Club is a membership based club with a strong tradition of sailing excellence and fun both on and off the water. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you and your family in the club as members in the future.
