DESCRIPTION:With the summer school holidays and the way the dates fall\, the first course date will be Course A on Thursday 7th of June.\nBook Online Here\nAll courses for 2016 will be two weeks long. \nThere will be a break in the middle of July to facilitate the KBC Laser Radial World Championships\, which the RSGYC has the honour of hosting in conjunction with the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company. \n\nCourse A:        June 7th – 17th (bank holiday Mon 6th) 9 days           Course Fee Member: €315 Guest/ Non- member fee €420\nCourse B:        June 20th – July 1st        10 days                                     Course Fee Member: €350 Guest/ Non- member fee €465\nCourse C:        July 4th – July 15th         10 days                                     Course Fee Member: €350 Guest/ Non- member fee €465\nCourse D:         August 2nd – 12th           9 days (bank holiday 1st)    Course Fee Member: €315 Guest/ Non- member fee €420\nLaser Worlds:  July 23 – 30th                   No sailing course\n\nPlease Note: Please Note: ISA Membership Fee of €16 is compulsory for all trainees. DESCRIPTION:RSGYC Feva Summer Training Clinics 2016\nBook Online\n\nClinic 1 – Monday\, June 20th – Friday\, June 24th\nClinic 2 – Monday\, July 11th – Friday\, July 15th\nClinic 3 – Monday\, August 8th –  Friday\, August 12th\n\nThe RS Feva Ireland Association is holding 3 Summer training clinics in the Royal St. George Yacht Club\, These clinics will be headed up by the Feva Class Coach\, Stephen Craig\, with the assistance of a number of other current RS200 and recent Feva sailors. It is open to sailors from all clubs\, and of all abilities. We will have separate on and off the water coaching sessions for more experienced Feva sailors who want to improve their boat handling and tactical skills and for those who are new or newer to the class and want to learn how to sail Fevas. These clinics are open to sailors from all clubs – all are welcome. If you are interested in doing any of these Feva Clinics\, but don’t have a boat or someone to sail with let us know and we will see if that can be arranged. \nClinic 1 – Boat Handling. This clinic will focus on improving boat handling and there will be a real focus on spinnaker work.\nClinic 2 – Pre-Nationals Racing Clinic. This clinic is taking place the week before the RS Feva Irish Nationals\, which are taking place in Greystones Sailing Club from Monday\, July 18th – Wednesday\, July 20th. The focus of this clinic will be on prepared for racing\, and will incorporate the RSGYC Junior Regatta\, which takes place on July 13th. The fee for the clinic includes entry to the regatta.\nClinic 3 – Feva Adventure. The focus of this clinic will be “having fun in a Feva”! \nThe sessions will run from 9:00am – 5.00pm each day\, and lunch will be provided by the club. \nThe cost for each clinic is €175 per sailor.

SUMMARY:Team Racing Training this June – August
DESCRIPTION:Book online here\nFollowing the huge level of interest in Team Racing amongst our Youth Sailors last year\, we are planning to get Team Racing training up and running again through July and August\, in preparation for the second ‘Elmo Trophy’ Junior Team racing event which will take place on 10/11 September this year. The second session will start in early August – dates have yet to be finalised for this. Following on from these training sessions\, teams will be selected to represent the RSGYC in this event. \nThe first module will start next Monday – June 27th – and will run for 3 weeks. The sessions will run from 5.30pm – 8.30pm\, using the RSGYC Fireflies\, and are open to all Junior Members aged 14 and over. Those who have team raced before will know how much fun team racing is. For those who haven’t\, come down and give it a try – and see what all the fuss is about! \nFor planning purposes\, so we know how many will be attending\, we would ask that you sign up for the training using the form below. The cost for all 3 sessions is €45\, but you can’t attend all 3 you can book in for individual sessions at a cost of €20 per session. This cost includes coaching and use of the Club boats. \nOn the form\, you will also be asked to tick a box agreeing that sailors will be responsible for any significant damage to the Club boats in the event of any serious damage occurring. It is important that the sailors appreciate that the Club are kindly giving us the use of the boats and that there are consequences in the event of serious damage.
