Team racing training starts again this Wednesday (August 10th) at 6pm, in preparation for the Elmo Trophy, which will take place in the George on September 10th/11th – see details at https://www.rsgyc.ie/event/elmo-trophy-2016/
This training is open to all aged 13 – 18 who are interested in getting on to one of the George teams for the event. Last year we put in 3 teams to this Youth Team Racing event, and hope to do the same again this year. The training will be headed up John Sheehy – one of our clubs most successful team racers.
The coaches are giving their time free of charge, but we do need a rib driver for each session, so if you are available and could do one of the Wednesday evening sessions over the next 4 weeks please let me know – it’s a great way of getting out and seeing what it’s all about!
