The harbour are celebrating the Bicentenary of the laying of the first stone of the harbour on 31 May 2017
(Time to be decided) but location will be at the George IV monument overlooking the Carlisle Pier and the general harbour (first stone part of the monument)
As this is a Wednesday there probably will not be much activity and there will be further events during the year (calendar of events soon to be published)
However if it is the afternoon we thought there may be some Junior activity in the harbour and if so it might be good if they could do some kind of a parade of sail on the day
This is just a preliminary notice and I can be in touch again when the time is set to see if anything can be organised
(Of course this is not confined to Junior sailors!)
