Sailing Talk & Dinner with Barry Hayes

Join Barry Hayes for an engaging two-part talk on the 30th of January at 19:30.
Barry Hayes worked as a sailmaker in Ireland for five years under Des McWilliam. He then worked in New York on the east coast for UK Sailmakers for four years.
In 2017 Barry, had purchased the sailing loft from Des Mc William and today is the director of UK Sails Ireland.
This talk will be split into two parts
Part 1: Barry shares his top tips for racing and cruising sailors.
Part 2: This part will be a hands-on interactive demonstration, where Barry will hand out winches and show you step by step
how to properly care for your deck gear and winches, while discussing the importance of maintaining them.
