Another super successful weekend for our Optimist sailors at the Connaught Championships in Lough Ree Yacht Club.

An incredible 172 sailors travelled to Lough Ree this weekend, making it the largest dinghy sailing event in the country this year and the biggest Optimist event in Ireland in many, many, years. Forty two RSGYC sailors competed, making up 24% of the fleet.
